LA Color Pros Introduces NanGuang CN-278 Dual Eye DisplayLupe LCD Magnifier for DSLR

The CN-278 Displaylupe LCD Magnifier is a dual vision LCD magnifier made with high strength plastic for cleaner view from DSLR LCD viewfinder. It mounts on the DSLR optical viewfinder without the need of any additional bracket, rail, or any sticky frames. The extra large high quality glass lens provides 3X zoom magnification along with double-wide rubberized eyepiece. The stereo dual vision provides a more comfortable and less tiring operation than traditional single display LCD viewfinder.

Posted by Shane Tincu on 7/16/2013 9:06:00 PM We are using this 5D mark 2 version on 6D.

The cons for me are that my eyes wont focus if I have my forehead up against the view finder. When shooting outside on sunny days that is something I would need to do. I do wear glasses so maybe its something to do with my prescription. I guess my only other con would be that its big and that I would need another bag to carry a couple of these to gigs.

It's basically the same size as a 60D with a 17-50 lens attached LOL.

The pros... when I have my face about 5 - 6 inches away from the view finder the camera screen looks to be about 6 inches! It seriously looks huge and it is very clear. The view finder is built solid, and comes with a nice case. It attaches very easy and seems to stay in place. I have manfrotto plates on the bottom of all my cameras and the view finder still attaches fine even thought they stick out the back of the camera a little bit.

Overall I REALLY like it, I just wish I could make an adjustment when I need to put my forehead up against it so I could use it for outdoor weddings and photo sessions.

Posted by Scott Tripper on 7/16/2013 9:16:00 PM This a great product, I purchased one from LA Color Pros and received? quick shipping. I've already used it at a few weddings and it makes it so much easier to achieve critical focus and I no longer have to use a hand to shade my eyes, I'm very pleased and highly recommend this product.

Posted by Steve Campbell on 7/18/2013 10:28:00 AM I use the Canon 60D as my workhorse. Is there a model that would work with this camera?

Replied by LA Color Pros Steve, unfortunately, there isn't a model for 60D.
Posted by Ed on 7/18/2013 10:51:00 AM Will you be making your LCD Dual Eye Doppel-DisplayLupe LCD Magnifier for the GH2/3 cameras?

Replied by LA Color Pros Ed, there isn't one for GH2/3. I will pass along to NanGuand to see if they will have plan to manufacturer this view finder for Panny cameras.
Posted by Peter on 7/18/2013 12:16:00 PM I am looking at your CN-278. I have a 5D M3 which has a larger screen then the M2. But I see the measurements on your site for M2 and M3 are the same. How does this fit on the M3. Is there any cropping? This is a big issue for M3 owners so please ensure this will cover M3 LCD and I will buy one.

Replied by LA Color Pros Hi Peter, the LCD loupe itself is the same for all models. They are big enough to cover 5D3 LCD screen. The difference is on the frame mount. It is custom fit to 5D mark 3. The 3x zoom with both eyes makes viewing on the LCD screen very clear. Its a big help in getting good focus with this LCD Magnifier.
Posted by jpcezanne on 7/22/2013 9:59:00 AM Hi
I do have a Nikon D800
I'm from Portugal, and every time I order an item from US they keep it on custom for at least 6 weeks , where at the end they ask me for my ID and one invoice.
Is there a way for you to send the item already with all that staff , so we skip this 6 weeks custom wait ?
Or is there a seller in Europe?
I do use glasses!!! Is that a real problem to focusing ?
Thanks so much
Regards

Replied by LA Color Pros Hi, there is a way of work around. I will send you a private message.
