How exactly does this work? Is there some type of vibration reduction? Or is because you are not holding your camera that the vibration disappears? Very curious.

Ron, the Halorig has a clever design that absorb many of the angular movement from the wrist, elbow, and shoulder by the way you hold the Halorig.

Thanks for the info. How does it stack up against a Glideam, say the HD1000? I have looked at the footage, it looks nice but...I have reservations that something 1/ 4th the price can get the job done. Any first hand knowledge?

I supposed you mean Glidecam. They are different category of products. For example, you cannot mount a video light or shotgun mic on the Glidecam. That's a full steadicam. Halorig is more a handle with stablizing capability. If the footage looks good, that's all that matter. Thanks

Armin, you can see from the photo, the entire rig is not a full circle. The bottom part is removed to reduce the overall weight.
