I've been searching high and low for a cold shoe (female opening like the item above) that can attach to a mic stand/boom pole. I noticed it (above) has a 1/4 inch threaded opening at bottom. This could possibly work by modifying but really would like to find what I'm looking for. Any help appeciated and thanks.

The bottom can be mounted on standard light stand. The top is an accessory shoe. Or you can unscrew the black piece and it becomes a 1/4"-20 thread.
