Matrox I-Frame Intermedia HD Codec

Posted on 8/3/2009 1:42:00 PM

Tired of huge files generated by Lagarith or Huffyuv lossless codec? Get this Matrox I-Frame Intermedia HD Codec.

Matrox used to lock their HD codecs. They can only be used with the Matrox hardware. I found out in their VFW (Video for Windows) driver 2.0 and 4.0, their Matrox I-Frame HD Codec is unlocked, which means, it can be used with any computer. I have been hiding this fact for a long time until I got a clearance from Matrox that is okay to point to their site to download.

Matrox RT.X2 editing card comes with a Matrox I-Frame Intermedia HD Codec as VFW driver. With that codec, you can use it to replace Lagarith or Huffyuv lossless codec. It gives you a high quality intermedia codec without generating huge files.
