Posted by Jose Aguilo on 4/10/2010 11:40:00 AM Hi,

I love the Comer 1800 led light. Now I can unleash my creativity to a new level. The color balance is realy easy and the power of this little light is huge. With my light meter I record readings ecual to a tungten light of 100 Whatts. That is a lot of power. That's means higher shutter speed and lower iso. Wait for more examples soon!
Posted by San on 6/17/2010 5:15:00 AM Beautiful pictures Jose, btw what options(gel, diffuser, etc.) on the Comer did you use for the pictures with the moonlight and buildings in the background while capturing the couple in the foreground?
Thanks

Hi San,

The comer 1800 light comes with everything you need. In that particular picture I use the condenser lens, comer 1800 half power, monopod for the light, tripod, nikon 24-70 f/2.8 @28mm, f/4, Iso 2000, S 1/3, camera body: NikonD700 full frame camera. You can add a diffuser, but the beauty of this light is the shadows and how good you can blend this light with ambient light. I recommend this light to all my friends for video and photography. You can't go wrong with this light. Also I want to add that the battery last longer than any photo shoot or wedding so far. I also use it in commercial photography applications and I experiment a lot with this light, knowing that the results are always the best.

Thank you very much and enjoy your light,

Jose
